The Journey of a Cult is often defined by specific steps.

1. The Big Idea

An inspiring figure or figureheads propose an innovative concept pledging a cure for disconnected individuals.

So here we are. They’re getting ready to storm the compound in Australia. The gunships are circling. Conflict emerges from within. An isolated player, exposed, shivering, the words HIGH RELEASE POINT written on his body in chicken blood, has emerged through the lines and is taken aside with discretion for a temporary assignment elsewhere.

Remember the start, when optimism reigned? The initial phase, of pure instinct.

2. Initial Adoration

Team architects offer a reboot, a brighter tomorrow, support, redemption together with shared faith in the philosophy.

What was this thing initially? Players celebrating enjoying success. Body art. Muscles. Focus. Confident masculinity. Oh sure, England’s players insist Bazball doesn’t actually exist, amusingly since it’s not recognized, what was that spectacle?

However, everyone understands the concept. It’s the batsman attempting a move so outrageous it’s beyond belief. 3. A New Life

The team have been isolated in this system from a young age. Attempting to break free, to build a better atmosphere, they are mirroring their own experience, creating another a bubble, a limited community, however with a modern squad and a leader promoting authenticity as long as yourself is quite a lot like myself.

Live where your feet are. Embrace challenges. However much you change, you remain stuck.
